Ivan Lim serves as the General Manager at Restalyst, bringing with him a steadfast commitment to advancing healthcare through innovation and collaboration. Ivan’s journey with Restalyst began in 2007 when he joined the company as a laboratory technologist, playing an integral role in its foundational years.

Throughout the company’s evolution from a single-product start-up to a notable player in the local biomedical industry, Ivan’s dedication and expertise have been instrumental. His pivotal role in heading the development and successful launch of 2 groundbreaking cancer diagnostic kits exemplifies his ability to drive cost-effective innovative solutions without compromising quality.

In addition to his contributions to product development, Ivan has played a crucial role in shaping Restalyst’s operational framework. He spearheaded the establishment of standard operating procedures, implemented fully-integrated Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) services, and led the effort to obtain EN ISO13485 certification for the company.

Driven by a belief in adaptability and a growth mindset, Ivan continually pushes Restalyst to explore new opportunities beyond its areas of specialisation. Ivan aspires for Restalyst to leverage its all-rounded expertise to empower others in the industry, facilitating the commercialisation of diagnostic kits and ultimately enhancing healthcare outcomes for all.

Ivan earned a bachelor degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Bradford.
